This is utterly annoying.
During the election campaign, Donald Trump went after Hillary Clinton regarding her e-mails and even told her during one of their debates that he was going to appoint a special prosecutor.
But two weeks after he won the election, Trump told The New York Times, “I don’t want to hurt the Clintons, I really don’t. She went through a lot and suffered greatly in many different ways, and I am not looking to hurt them at all. The campaign was vicious.”
However, in light of the DOJ's Inspector General decision to review FBI Director James Comey's conduct in the Hillary e-mail investigation, Trump once again took to Twitter:
What are Hillary Clinton's people complaining about with respect to the F.B.I. Based on the information they had she should never have been allowed to run - guilty as hell. They were VERY nice to her. She lost because she campaigned in the wrong states - no enthusiasm!
Enough!!! Either Trump thinks Hillary is guilty of a crime or she isn't. If he does then appoint a special prosecutor. If he doesn't then shut the hell up and move on. The decision of the DOJ's Inspector General to review Comey has no bearing on Hillary's conduct and shouldn't have any bearing on Trump's either.
I wouldn't be surprised if in a couple of months time Trump says he has no plans to investigate Hillary and says the Clintons are wonderful people. And a couple months later, he'll go back to saying she's guilty as hell. This is Trump's standard operating procedure.
Frankly, where it concerns Hillary Clinton's e-mails, President-Elect Trump needs to shit or get off the pot.
