How Is Trump Calling CNN "Fake News" Any Different From Obama Admin's Attacks on FOX News?

I have no doubt President-Elect Donald Trump's supporters absolutely loved it when he refused to take a question from CNN reporter Jim Acosta & shouted, "You are fake news."

Yet how exactly is Trump's attempt to delegitimize CNN any different from the Obama Administration's efforts to delegitimize FOX News?

Wasn't it former White House Communications Director Anita Dunn who said FNC was "opinion journalism masquerading as news"?

Wasn't it White House Chief of Staff turned Chicago mayor Rahm Emmanuel who said that FNC was "not a news organization" because of its "perspective"?

Wasn't it David Axelrod who said that FOX News is "not really a news station"?

Wasn't it the Obama Administration who tried to exclude the network from an interview with "pay czar" Kenneth Feinberg in October 2009?

Wasn't it President Obama who made a concerted effort to ignore questions from FOX News reporters?

If anyone thinks what the Obama Administration did in those instances was unacceptable then why is it acceptable when Donald Trump does it?
