Have a listen to what one of Trump's supporters (named Alan) has to say when he leaves a voice mail for Rina Shah, the campaign manager of independent presidential candidate Evan McMullin:
Just so we're clear this is exactly what Alan had to say to Shah:
You frothing, libtard piece of shit Islamic dog. Vote for the pathological lying criminal you fucking piece of shit … and get out of our country … while you’re at it, got back and get fucked by your dirtbag Islamic terror scum friends. Slut.
When contacted by BuzzFeed, Alan confirmed he left the voicemail proudly stating, "I stand by every word of it."
It's not like Trump has done anything to dissuade this sort of behavior. Indeed, it's Trump very contempt of Muslims (which Shah isn't) and other minorities which has not only made racism socially acceptable, but made people proud to brag of it.
As I've previously argued, if some of Trump's supporters are deplorable it is because their man is deplorable and they are doing their finest to follow his lead.
