So Mike Pence condemns Hillary Clinton for calling his & Donald Trump's supporters "deplorables" he refuses to call David Duke "deplorable" because it would be "name-calling."
I think it's safe to say that Pence has never watched any of Trump's speeches or read any of Trump's tweets over the past 15 months.
All this does remind people of when Trump refused to condemn the former Klansmen more than six months ago. If Duke ends up being the GOP Senatorial candidate for Louisiana it will only make things worse. Worse still is that Pence had made an effort to cultivate an image as a moderate counterpoint to Trump. That image now goes out the proverbial window.
Hillary Clinton has taken a lot of heat for calling half of Trump's supporters "deplorables" but if David Duke isn't deplorable then who is?
