COVID cases in the U.S. have now topped 59 million cases. According to Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, there have been 59,166,756 cases resulting in 836,477 deaths representing a mortality rate of 1.4%.
Hospitalizations for COVID have also topped 125,000. But if New York is anything to go by there is a silver lining as fewer COVID patients are ending up in the ICU.
The fight is far from over, but one takes good news wherever it can be found.
