Something is rotten with the BBC namely anti-Semitism.
Last month, during Chanukah, a bus full of Jewish teenagers on London's Oxford Street were attacked by Muslim men shouting anti-Semitic statements, giving Nazi salutes and trying to shake the bus. While the BBC reported the attack, it claimed one of the Jewish passengers shouted anti-Muslim remarks. This is untrue. The person in question was pleading for help in Hebrew.
Despite being shown the inconvertible evidence, the BBC has steadfastly refused to apologize. Now the BBC is demanding the names of the Jews on the bus. It is inconceivable the BBC would make such a demand of persons belonging to any other group. Mind you this is a network which less than a year ago asked the question, "Should Jews Count as an Ethnic Minority?" No wonder The Simon Wiesenthal Center ranks the BBC third behind only Iran and Hamas as the world's most anti-Semitic entities.
At this point, an apology from the BBC would be empty and without meaning. The institutional bias against Jews is so strong that only a complete sacking of its existing leadership by the British government might give a chance to be a more responsible broadcaster rather than one which willfully promotes hatred against Jews.
