Shri Thanedar, a freshman Democratic Congressman from Michigan has been outspoken in his support of Israel since the 10/07 attacks by Hamas.
As a result, Thanedar has been a target of pro-Hamas mobs such as the one which demonstrated in front of his home at midnight a few days ago.
There was also an incident on December 16th when he was confronted by a pro-Hamas mob at a pub in Detroit where he was holding a holiday party. They chanted, "Shri, you can't hide! We charge you with genocide!"
The pro-Hamas mob became violent and ended up hospitalizing an elderly African-American Democratic Party activist Bobbie Avington-Johnson who sustained two black eyes. Avington-Johnson remains hospitalized as of this writing.
It's bad enough that the pro-Hamas element has disrupted everyday life with its hateful presence but is also willing to brazenly commit violence against elderly women. They don't care who they harm.
Unfortunately, it is harbinger of what is to come. Perhaps tragedy can be averted if we are more vocal against their hooliganism and invasion of our personal space while taking further security precautions.
