President Trump is going to be taken to Walter Reed Medical Center via Marine One and is expected to spend a few days there as his COVID-19 symptoms have escalated. The White House says this is a precautionary measure.
Despite this development there are no plans to take precautionary measures to require White House staff to wear masks nor will it be required for visitors. Mark Meadows, White House Chief of Staff, says masks are "a personal choice" despite the President and First Lady's positive COVID-19 diagnosis. White House staff had been required to wear masks earlier in the pandemic but this edict was lifted back in June.
If the Trump White House doesn't get the danger of COVID-19 now they never will.
