McEnany's Epitaph: "Science Should Not Stand In The Way" of Schools Reopening

When Kayleigh McEnany leaves this world, be it in 2020 or in 2070, her epitaph will read "Science should not stand in the way!"

While Republicans are planning to move their convention outdoors, President Trump insists that schoolchildren and their teachers should move indoors and McEnany is fully onboard, science be damned!!!

“The president has said unmistakably that he wants schools to open. And when he says open, he means open in full, kids been able to attend each and every day at their school. The science should not stand in the way of this.”

Well, a lot of state governors didn't let science stand in the way as they recklessly reopened for business only to see COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations occur. If COVID-19 can spike in the barroom then why can't it spike in the classroom?

At the risk of sounding sexist, McEnany embraces the "dumb blonde" stereotype. But when the "dumb blonde" is the official spokesperson for a buffoon who we chose to be our President this is the result.

It's not like McEnany had a boat load of credibility in the first place. No one believed McEnany when she told the White House press corps on her first day on the job only two and a half months ago that she would never lie to them. But what she said today is memorable for all the wrong reasons and it will follow her for the rest of her life.

Above all else, McEnany is speaking on behalf of President Trump. If she says science is standing in the way of schools reopening then we can be sure this what President Trump believes as well. McEnany's epitaph came today. President Trump's epitaph shall follow on November 3rd.
