A few days ago, Greta Thunberg, who is best known for climate change activism, participated in a pro-Hamas demonstration in her native Sweden during which she chanted (translated into English), “What are we going to do? We will crush Zionism.”
This is not the first time the 20-year-old Thunberg has made her views on the subject known. Last month, she was pictured holding a sign which read, "Stand With Gaza".
Well, when you stand with Gaza you stand with Hamas.
But when you declare that you will crush Zionism, this means you intend the crush the aspirations of Jews to live in their own state. If you crush Zionism, then you intend to crush Israel.
And if you intend to crush Israel then you intend to crush Jews the world over with the objective of rendering us a second class, stateless people tolerate upon the fickle sufferance of others.
In which case, Jews are in danger of returning to very familiar and treacherous terrain. The danger is augmented when people known the world over give the hatred which drives anti-Semitism the veneer of respectability.
It is every bit as dangerous coming from the likes of Greta Thunberg as it is from the likes of Elon Musk.
