Elon Musk Should Not Have Been Welcomed in Israel By Benjamin Netanyahu Nor Anyone Else

Given my recent comments concerning what I view as the stench of Elon Musk's anti-Semitism, I am appalled that he was welcome with open arms in Israel by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Esther Solomon, editor-in-chief of Haaretz, very nearly took the words out of my mouth when she proclaimed on X (which is of course owned by Musk):

Blatant antisemite & publisher of antisemitism Elon Musk should be persona non grata in Israel. Instead, Netanyahu - plumbing new depths of amoral sycophancy - gifts him a PR visit to the kibbutzim devastated by Hamas. Profane, venal, bilious, both of them.

Netanyahu took Musk on a tour of Kfar Aza, a kibbutz near Gaza which was attacked by Hamas terrorists on October 7th resulting in the deaths of 52 kibbutz members with 13 others missing.

Musk said it was "jarring to see the scene of the massacre." But I do not believe him. In a week from now, he'll like or reply positively to a statement on X from a white supremacist willfully promoting hatred against Jews.

It is also curious that Netanyahu finally visits a kibbutz that was attacked more than seven weeks after the fact. Haaretz journalist Amir Tibon, whose family survived a Hamas massacre at Kibbutz Nahal Oz, took Netanyahu to task over the weekend in an interview with Mona Charen of The Bulwark for not uttering the word kibbutz much less visiting one.

While better late than never to Bibi for visiting a kibbutz which was attacked, taking along a vile anti-Semite like Elon Musk added insult to injury. Frankly, Bibi might as well have invited Rashida Tlaib while he was at it.

Now Elon Musk has spread his brand of anti-Semitism into Israel and Netanyahu aided and abetted him. So too has Israeli President Isaac Herzog.

Shame!!!
