Kelly Preston, R.I.P.

Actress Kelly Preston passed away of breast cancer yesterday morning. She had been battling the disease for the past two years, but had kept her health a private matter. Preston was 57.

Although Preston had an acting career which lasted nearly 40 years appearing in films such as Mischief, Twins, Jerry Maguire and For Love of the Game, Preston is probably best remembered for being married to John Travolta. Theirs was a Hollywood marriage that worked united for 28 years until death did them part.

Preston and Travolta were the parents of three children though sadly their eldest son Jett passed away in 2009 when he was only 16. A year after his death, Preston gave birth to another son named Benjamin.
