I know that many Americans find President Trump funny. I am not among them.
But I know what Trump is trying to do - be Don Rickles.
Try as he might Donald Trump is no Don Rickles and never will be.
While their schtick consists of politically incorrect ethnic humor and insults there is a fundamental difference.
Don Rickles deployed his humor without a shred of malice. The same cannot be said of Donald Trump.
Could you imagine President Trump singing, "I'm a Nice Guy"?
