It Would Appear People of Color (Particularly Asians) Were Targeted in The Allen, Texas Massacre

At first glance, it was not clear what motivated someone to get out of their car and start shooting people in a mall parking lot. Even when it became clear the shooter had neo-Nazi and white supremacist sympathies it wasn't immediately evident who he was specifically targeting.

However, with the names of the victims having been released, 7 of the 8 people killed were persons of color. Of those 7, four were of Asian/South Asian descent. To make matters worse, three of the fatalities were children. The shooter also planned his attack to inflict the maximum number of casualties

While authorities in Texas won't officially declare a motive in this case, if one sports tattoos of swastikas, engages in racist rhetoric on social media and then sees fit to target minorities for extermination then I don't think we have to look very far. That is unless the authorities in Texas insist on not looking at all.
