Authorities managed to end nearly a week long blockade of the Canadian side of the Ambassador Bridge in Windsor, Ontario after they removed individuals who had defied a court order to leave along with their vehicles. It is, however, unclear when the bridge which leads to Detroit will reopen to vehicular traffic.
Unfortunately, the covidiocy continues in Ottawa with no signs of the convoy budging and with an overwhelmed and ineffectual police force, local residents are now taking matters into their hands in organizing demonstrations and blockading the convoy.
Without decisive action very soon it is only a matter of time before we see bloodshed on the streets of Ottawa.
