This Red Sox Fan Thinks The Dodgers Will Sweep The World Series - UPDATE

The 2018 World Series commences tonight at Fenway Park with the Boston Red Sox hosting the Los Angeles Dodgers. It marks the first time the two teams have faced each other in the Fall Classic since 1916 when the Red Sox defeated the Dodgers (then based in Brooklyn and known as the Robins) in five games.

While the Red Sox, who won a MLB best 108 games, are favored to win their fourth World Series title since 2004, this Red Sox fan thinks the Dodgers will sweep them. Although the Red Sox have an edge in offense, the Dodgers have greater depth in pitching especially in the bullpen.

Of course, I have been spectacularly wrong about the Red Sox whether it comes to them ruing the day they fired John Farrell, chasing Alex Cora out of town with a pitchfork or having any regrets over signing J.D. Martinez. So there's a good chance I'll be wrong again and will be glad to be wrong. Well, sort of. I'll explain....should the Red Sox win the World Series.

UPDATE: Well, so much for that prediction. I still think the Dodgers will upset the Bosox.
