Brewers Sweep Rockies; Advance to NLCS

The Milwaukee Brewers have just defeated the Colorado Rockies 6-0 at Coors Field to sweep the NLDS. When back up catcher Erik Kratz goes 6 for 9 and Orlando Arcia and Keon Broxton (who had seven HR between them this season) go back to back off Wade Davis you know the Brewers are playing on all eight cylinders.

After the Rockies beat the Cubs in dramatic fashion over 13 innings at Wrigley Field six days ago, there was a let down. The Rockies only scored two runs in the entire series when they tied the game in the 9th inning forcing extra innings in Game 1. Apart from that, the Brewers outplayed the Rockies and will host Game 1 of the NLCS come Friday night. The Brewers could find out who their opponents are in a few hours should the Dodgers win Game of their NLDS against the Braves. While the Brewers held the Rockies to two runs, the Dodgers have held the Braves to no runs during the first two games. But the Braves might have other plans as they host Game 3. Regardless of the outcome, the Brewers will play in their first NLCS since 2011 to fight for the chance to play in their first World Series since 1982 when they were an American League team.
