The Real Reason George Clooney Has Turned on President Biden

Actor George Clooney has called upon President Biden to drop out of the race. Clooney claims:

We are not going to win in November with this president. On top of that, we won’t win the House, and we’re going to lose the Senate. This isn’t only my opinion; this is the opinion of every senator and congress member and governor that I’ve spoken with in private. Every single one, irrespective of what he or she is saying publicly.

As President Biden likes to say, "Malarkey!!!"

The real reason Clooney wants President Biden to drop out is because of his criticism of the International Criminal Court. After President Biden blasted the ICC's decision to issue arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Clooney called the White House to air his anger and frustration. Clooney's wife Amal was among the panel which issued the warrants against Netanyahu and Gallant and Clooney feared that Biden would impose sanctions on the ICC and his upon his wife. Clooney clearly bears a grudge against President Biden for his criticism of the ICC> 

Yes, I know Clooney recently co-hosted a fundraiser for President Biden. But with friends like this who needs enemies?

As I argued the other day, these statements whether they come from Clooney or in ambiguous form from former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi only benefit defeated, former President Donald Trump in the long run. 

Whatever the motivation, those who want President Biden to drop out are unserious people who are telling us that one bad night negates three and a half years of good governance. They would rather be entertained than governed. 

Those who want President Biden to drop out are telling me they would prefer a second Trump presidency. In which case, they deserve everything which is coming to them.
