While I agree that the image of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi breaching San Francisco's COVID-19 protocols by not wearing a mask inside a hair salon isn't a good look, President Trump is hardly in any position to criticize her for "lecturing everyone on masks." Ditto for White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany demanding an apology whilst playing the video at the daily press briefing on a loop. It is her boss who should be doing the apologizing.
Say what you will about Pelosi's judgment or her claims that she was "set up". It is President Trump who insists on holding COVID super spreader events with no masks or social distancing as he did at his RNC acceptance speech at the White House a week ago today and at campaign events in New Hampshire last Friday night, in Wilmington, North Carolina yesterday, Latrobe, Pennsylvania today and back in North Carolina tomorrow night in Raleigh. Trump is also expected to speak in North Carolina yet again on Tuesday this time in Winston-Salem.
All these Trump rallies are bound to make people get sick and die. You could have asked Herman Cain if he were still available for comment.
