During an appearance at Georgetown University last night, former Vice President Mike Pence was asked if he would support Donald Trump if the Republican Party were to nominate him in 2024.
Pence quipped, "There might be somebody else I'd prefer more."
While Pence's reply was cute, he didn't answer the question.
It does appear that Pence will make a bid for the GOP nomination in 2024. But a good many Republicans would rather hang Mike Pence than hang out with him.
Simply put, Pence doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell against Trump.
Which brings us back to the original question. Will Pence support Trump if he is the GOP nominee in 2024?
We all know the answer because for nearly all Republicans, "The Left is worse." Pence is no Liz Cheney. Unless Pence declares that Trump shouldn't be allowed to run for public office then we can safely assume that he, like nearly all of the other GOP quislings, will seek to curry favor with Trump and endorse him for another four years in the White House even if he did try to have him killed.
