MTG Plays The Pedophile Card; Cotton Claims KBJ Would've Defended Nazis at Nuremberg

Here is what passes for deep thinking in the MAGA-fied Republican Party these days. 

After GOP Senators Mitt Romney and Lisa Murkowski joined Susan Collins yesterdayin declaring they will confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene tweeted:

Murkowski, Collins, and Romney are pro-pedophile.

They just voted for #KBJ.

Not to be outdone, Republican Senator Tom Cotton made this declaration about KBJ on the floor of the United States Senate today:

You know, the last Judge Jackson left the Supreme Court to go Nuremberg and prosecute the case against the Nazis. This Judge Jackson might’ve gone there to defend them.

Both Greene and Cotton are engaging in defamation and they know it. Their comments are otherwise unworthy of comment and have nothing of value to contribute to the merits of having KBJ on the Supreme Court much less to civil society. Whether or not they actually believe what they say is besides the point. All that matters is they are saying it because it is what their supporters want to hear and the truth be damned. 

Whatever rubbish Greene, Cotton and other Republicans throw at KBJ and anyone who dares to support her, KBJ is going to sit on the Supreme Court and there isn't a damn thing they can do about it.
