At this hour, President Trump is speaking at his private club in Bedminster, New Jersey proclaiming, "The pandemic is disappearing. It's going to disappear."
Well, it's not going to disappear today. According to Johns Hopkins University, nearly 60,000 Americans were diagnosed with COVID-19 today (59,692) with 1,250 succumbing to it.
It's not going to disappear tomorrow or Sunday. By the end of this weekend, 5 million Americans will have been afflicted with COVID-19.
It didn't disappear the other two dozen times Trump said it was going to disappear.
The only way the pandemic is going to disappear is if Americans make Donald Trump disappear from the White House.
