Warriors Win 4th NBA Title Since 2015 Besting Celtics in Six

There will be no parade in Boston this time.

The Boston Celtics, vying for their first NBA Title since 2008, fell to the Golden State Warriors 103-90 in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. The Celtics did lead the series 2-1, but then lost three straight game to the Warriors.

It was the Warriors' fourth NBA Title since 2015. Golden State appeared in five consecutive NBA Finals between 2015 and 2019 winning thrice defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2015, 2017 and 2018. They did lose to the Cavaliers in 2016 and to the Toronto Raptors in 2019.

While it is a disappointing outcome, the Celtics did lose to the best team basketball has seen since the Chicago Bulls of the 1990's. Fittingly, the Warriors head coach is Steve Kerr who was a member of those Bulls teams led by Michael Jordan.

Now Boston fans can give their undivided attention to the Red Sox and discover they are pretty damn good after all.
