If a 16-Year Old Girl Isn't Mature Enough for An Abortion Then Why Is She Mature Enough To Give Birth?

A judge in Escambia County Florida has ruled against a 16-year old ward of the state who had sought the court's permission to obtain an abortion on the basis that she's too immature.

If this 16-year old girl is too immature to have an abortion then how is it this same 16-year old is mature enough to give birth let alone raise a child?

As it stands now, the girl is 10 weeks pregnant and can appeal. However, Florida law prohibits abortion after 15 weeks. 

This decision has nothing to do with this girl's maturity and it has everything to do with the current political situation in Florida. The result of which is this girl is denied any choice in the matter.
