St. John's Church Was Desecrated Twice - Once by Rioters & Once by Trump

On Sunday, St. John's Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C. was desecrated by rioters who saw fit to commit arson.

Twenty-four hours later, St. John's Episcopal Chruch was desecrated again. This time by President Trump.

The President came to St. John's not to provide comfort and express sorrow to their clergy for what had happened. They were forcibly expelled from the church's premises by Park Police along with other non-violent protesters and media so Trump could have his photo-op holding a Bible as if it were a weapon.

When St. John's was damaged by fire I thought this would play right into Trump's hands (and it still might). His supporters worship him every bit as much as the parishioners of St. John's worship God. But Trump managed to answer an outrage with an obscenity.

The question now remains if voters will turn our cheeks or if we will banish Trump for his blasphemy.
