At the end of March, I predicted we would have the first New York Yankees-Los Angeles Dodgers World Series in 40 years. I still believe this will come to pass though I don't necessarily want it to come to pass.
AMERICAN LEAGUE
AL Wild Card - New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox Winner: Yankees
ALDS (Best 3 out of 5): New York Yankees vs. Tampa Bay Rays Winner: Yankees in 5
ALDS (Best 3 out of 5): Chicago White Sox vs. Houston Astros Winner: Astros in 4
ALCS (Best 4 out of 7): New York Yankees vs. Houston Astros Winner: Yankees in 7
ALCS MVP: Gio Urshela, New York Yankees
NATIONAL LEAGUE
NL Wild Card - St. Louis Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Winner: Dodgers
NLDS (Best 3 out of 5): Los Angeles Dodgers vs. San Francisco Giants Winner: Dodgers in 5
NLDS (Best 3 out of 5): Atlanta Braves vs. Milwaukee Brewers Winner: Braves in 3
NLCS (Best 4 out of 7): Atlanta Braves vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Winner: Dodgers in 6
NLCS MVP: Corey Seager, Los Angeles Dodgers
2021 World Series (Best of 7): New York Yankees vs. Los Angeles Dodgers Winner: Yankees in 6
World Series MVP: Brett Gardner, New York Yankees
Of course, I hope the Red Sox best the Yankees, the White Sox beat the Astros and if the Cardinals can't beat the Dodgers then let it be the Giants. But I am bound to be disappointed. I almost always am.
