Vice-President JD Vance is all over the map when it comes to Hamas.
During his visit to Israel, Vance simultaneously tells us Hamas will be "obliterated" if it doesn't comply with the terms of the ceasefire while at the same time telling us the ceasefire is "going better than expected" despite the fact Hamas has not returned the remaining hostages and continues to attack the IDF.
The VP claims he is insulted that the Knesset has held a vote on West Bank annexation after making the insulting suggestion that Hamas ally Turkey be allowed to keep the peace in Gaza. That would guarantee Hamas survival.
All of this tells me that Hamas will play Trump, Vance, Witkoff, Kushner like a fiddle and apply pressure to Israel. Meanwhile, Hamas rebuilds with plans to launch another October 7th.
