I Wonder if JD Vance Ever Said "Stupid" Things When He Was a "Kid"

Not surprisingly, this is fine with Vice-President J.D. Vance who stated during an appearance on The Charlie Kirk Show:
Grow up! Focus on the real issues. Don't focus on what kids say in group chats... The reality is that kids do stupid things, especially young boys — they tell edgy, offensive jokes. That's what kids do.

Of course, as has been pointed out, these kids were in their 20s and 30s and were working for prominent Republicans

Which brings me back to Vance who ascended to his current position at the age of 40 and was elected to the U.S. Senate at the age of 38.

The fact that Vance is so vehement in defending the behavior of these Young Republicans, I cannot help but wonder what sort of things Vance might have said in these sorts of group chats when he was, say, a "kid" of 35.

Did Vance utter the n-word or the f-word in a group chat?

Did Vance praise Hitler in a group chat?

Is his defense of the behavior of these Young Republicans a confession?

Perhaps Vance is too careful to be so indiscreet in that setting. Or perhaps Vance is disgusted by what was said but simply wishes to maintain his good standing with Trump. On the other hand, this is the same JD Vance who not only spread false information about Haitian migrants eating cats and dogs but bragged about "creating stories".

In defending this behavior, Vance is basically telling the Young Republicans he calls "kids" that it is OK to express racist, anti-Semitic and homophobic views and that such views are indeed tolerated by the Republican Party at large up to and including the White House.
