Holy poop on a stick!!!
After 30 years in the Senate, Susan Collins will soon be out of office as she has conceded to Democrat Troy Jackson.
With just over 72% of the vote counted, Collins trails Jackson by more than 6 points.
Still, I am a little surprised Collins conceded. Maybe she just doesn't want to continue with her party now in the minority.
As of this writing, Democrats have gained 7 Senate seats - North Carolina, South Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Kansas, Iowa and now Maine. They only needed to gain four seats and not lose any of their incumbents.
Well, I think it's time for me to go to bed.
